The weather was perfect for our Third Annual HSC Faculty Fall Foliage Hike on
October 24, 1998. We hiked over Blackrock Mountain, which affords spectacular views
to the south, west, and north. Our route took us down the Jones Run Trail to its junction with
the Doyles River Trail. Together the trails pass three waterfalls. We followed the Doyles
River Trail up to the Browns Gap Road, which took us back to the Appalachian Trail and Blackrock
Mountain for another view. See Our Photo Album:
