| After about a mile on the Frosty Gap Trail, we made camp near Frosty Gap
| The next morning we continued along The Frosty Gap Trail, which was actually Forest Road 731

| We ascended over an arm of the mountain
| In and out of hollows we walked

| Eventually we came to a public road and the "trail" became a trail again
| After meeting the Kennison Mountain Trail, we descended back down to Highway 39

| The trail swept around the west side of Blue Knob
| Then we rejoined the Pocahontas trail. Our earlier footprints had been obliterated by the wind and snow.

| We began descending to the Visitor Center
| We reached the Visitor Center at 2:00
