Alpha Chi Sigma, founded in 1902, is a professional fraternity for students pursuing degrees in chemically related sciences with over 62,000 members. Its purposes are threefold: to provide social functions for its members, to foster academic motivation and excellence, and to promote a program of professional activities for the College and the community.
Our brotherhood, the Beta Chi chapter of the Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity, unites Hampden-Sydney men that are looking to form "true and lasting friendships" during their stay on The Hill. We have 9 brothers living in our house on fraternity circle and over 20 in various dorms and apartments around campus.
