DUTIES OF THE RITUAL CHAIRMAN

• To procure all ritual equipment.
• To ensure that all songs are known and all parts assigned for all ritual events.
• To ensure that all rituals are performed with dignity and in correlation with all General Fraternity and IFC policies.
• To schedule a ritual rehearsal prior to initiation. 
• To educate newly initiated members on the objects, emblems, insignia, and meaning following the formal initiation ceremony. 
• To serve as the Chapter Sergeant-at-Arms
• To stand guard prior to each chapter meeting to ensure that only members of Beta Theta Pi enter.
• To maintain order while the chapter meeting is in progress, and to dismiss any member who continuously disrupts the workings of the chapter meeting.
