On his last Sunday as Pastor of College Church, Pastor Willie baptized 4th grader Chris Pelland.

In November of 2002, the chidren in the elementary Sunday School class wrote the song below, with a little help. They sang it to
Pastor Willie during his final Sunday worship service as pastor of College Church.
This song is sung to the tune of "You Are My Sunshine."
You are our pastor, our favorite pastor,
You tell us all about the Lord.
You'll never know how much we'll miss you
And your friendly, caring words.
On football Sunday you threw some passes
And hit somebody in the nose.
On Halloween you were the devil
And dressed up in silly clothes.
We like your funny ties and zebras.
Your children's sermon's are so sweet.
We all are glad that you are our pastor;
We all think you're very neat.
