UN-HALLOWEEN PARTY - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2005
|
| |
|
Mary Beth (the Good Shepherd), Katie (the Holy [hole-y] Spirit), and Karin (Jezebel)
got into the spirit of the evening; Martha (as Martha), Marcy (Deborah), and Lydia (as Lydia) Orr had a grand time!
|
The Church dinner on Sunday, October 30 '05 had a somewhat different look. Those who attended were invited to "come as your
favorite Bible character or religious figure", hence the concept, "Unhalloween Party." Those who dressed up were not to tell anyone
who they represented.
After a delicious dinner, the costumed individuals took turns giving clues to the group until their
identities were guessed. It was a lot of fun, and at times tongue-in-cheek, with some of
the characters really testing the depth of knowledge of the rest of the group! Tom Mayo (not shown) wore academic robes and carried
a beer stein. Who was he? Martin Luther, of course!
The elementary class members set up the fellowship hall for the dinner.
